The L-shape is two dimensions, not one product

There is no separate L-desk body here. The L is built by adding a return to the main top, and the size lists show it directly. Polo is listed at 140×80 alongside 240×140 and 280×160 cm; Planet R carries 120×140, 140×140, 240×140 and 280×140 cm; Steel and Evol run from 120×140 up to 180×160 cm. That second number is what your floor plan has to absorb. A corner L leaves less circulation space than a straight top but gains a dedicated surface for files and screens. X4, on the Premium line, is worth noting separately: its variable structure is specified for individual, semi-executive and shared workstation setups.

Check the clearance under the top

The most commonly skipped part of a desk decision is what happens underneath. The Cage pedestal in this category measures 42x55x62 cm, comfortably below a 75 cm top, and its mobile version rolls out from under the desk when you need the drawer. A panel base narrows the usable width below, so with a panel-based model you should place the pedestal on the plan before ordering. Metal frames with fixed legs, as on Polo, Planet R, Steel and Sail, leave the underside open, letting the pedestal, the cable tray and the chair share the same volume.

Cable routing separates two otherwise identical tops

Cable channel, cable tray, grommet and power outlet are among the most frequent search terms in this category, and the products reflect it. Steel is built around a spine structure for open-plan offices, so the frame that carries the top also carries the cabling. If charging and display cables are still lying across the top after installation, the missing item was never the desk. When the same top is repeated into a team block, a shared spine stops being optional and you should move to workstations.

Home office and corporate floor need different desks

One model in this grid belongs to the home side: Hobby, at 120x79x97 cm with an integrated drawer system and a bookcase module. Flipper, 65x65x120 cm and reading as a side table until it opens into a working surface, and the Idea+ 01, X1 and X5 modular operational stations answer the same needs, but they are listed on the Premium line. If you work standing part of the day, look at height-adjustable desks; for a middle-management room, mid-level executive desks; for training rooms in rows, seminar tables.
