Solutions
Refreshing an office, furnishing a conference hall, opening a consulting room and setting up a meeting room each raise different requirements. A separate page has been prepared for every scenario, with dimensions, selection criteria and product recommendations from the catalogue.
Fitting out an office comes down to five connected decisions: the area required per user, the desk and seating type suited to the work, the table and acoustic solution required by meeting load, the storage required by document volume, and the waiting and reception layout required by visitor traffic. The seven pages below address each decision separately, with dimensions, selection criteria and the corresponding products in the catalogue.

Equipment schedule by team size
| Team | Gross area | Workstations | Meeting | Storage and waiting |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 people | 130-150 m² | 10 desks, 10 task chairs | 1 room · table for 6-8 | 1 pedestal per person, 2-3 cabinets · 2-3 waiting seats |
| 25 people | 325-375 m² | 25 stations, acoustic panels | 2 rooms · for 6 and 12 | 5-6 cabinets, archive racking · desk and 4-6 seats |
| 50 people | 650-750 m² | 50 stations, 1-2 acoustic booths | 3-4 rooms, 1 seminar area | Archive room, lockers · modular waiting |
Gross area covers workstations, meeting rooms, reception, kitchen, archive and circulation, calculated on the basis of 13-15 m² per person. Workstations alone require 6-8 m² per person in an open plan. The full calculation is set out in the space planning guide.
Items that determine the budget
The price difference between two desks of the same size arises from five items rather than the dimensions: the fabric or leather group, the top finish (melamine, wood veneer, lacquer), the leg and mechanism class, power and acoustic add-ons, and the proportion of bespoke work. Only the last depends on project scale; the other four are selected item by item and move the budget in steps.
List prices are not published for project products, because fabric group and size options produce a wide band for the same item. Once dimensions and quantities are supplied, an itemised quotation is prepared. Prices for stock items are published on the product page: in the catalogue, items tagged “Ready to ship” fall into this category.
In refurbishment work, phasing the budget spreads the cash flow and allows the second phase to be corrected once the result of the first is visible. How the phases are ordered is set out on the office refresh page.
Custom production and project design
Where catalogue dimensions do not fit the space, or a corporate identity has no ready-made equivalent, the work becomes a project. The scope may extend from altering the size of a single desk to drawing a whole floor; in both cases the process follows the same sequence.
- Discovery and briefThe space is surveyed on site, measured and the working pattern established. Within Ankara province this stage is free of charge.
- Layout planArea per person, clearances and a function scheme are worked out; catalogue products and bespoke pieces are separated at this stage.
- Materials and colourFabric, veneer, metal and laminate selections are gathered on a single board. The options are published in the material library.
- Technical drawingA signed technical drawing is prepared for every bespoke piece; production starts from that drawing, not from a verbal agreement.
- Production and supplyThe lead time stated on most product pages is four weeks and the contractual standard band is 4-8 weeks; bespoke pieces are scheduled against that calendar so delivery is made in a single visit.
- Installation and handoverInstallation is carried out by the Kavela team, with a snag list produced and closed at handover. The warranty period starts at two years depending on the product.
The scope and examples of bespoke work are set out on the custom furniture page, and the interior architecture scope on the interior architecture page. Completed work is in the projects section.

Delivery, installation and warranty
Products are delivered to the address across Türkiye through contracted logistics providers. The contractual standard lead time is 4-8 weeks from order confirmation depending on stock; the lead time stated on product pages is 4 weeks for the greater part of the catalogue. For bespoke and project orders the lead time is confirmed in writing at order stage and forms an integral part of the contract.
Where assembly is required, installation and placement are carried out free of charge by the Kavela team at delivery. Where there is no lift or items must be carried up stairs, an additional service fee may apply and is notified before delivery. Within Ankara province, delivery is free of charge above the stated minimum order value.
Products carry a 2-year structural warranty against frame, mechanism and stitching defects. Fabric and leather coverings are assessed on the basis of normal wear; paid servicing is provided for damage outside the scope. Details are set out on the delivery and returns and warranty pages.
Frequently asked questions
How long does an office furniture project take?
From survey to handover, a mid-sized office generally takes 6-12 weeks: 1-2 weeks for survey, layout and material selection, 4-8 weeks for production and delivery, and a few days for installation. Where the move date is fixed, dimensions and layout should be settled eight weeks in advance and the order placed six weeks in advance.
Is a price list published?
List prices are not published for project products, because fabric group, finish and size produce a wide band for the same item. Once dimensions and quantities are supplied, an itemised quotation is prepared. Prices for stock items are published on the product page.
Is the service product supply only, or does it include project design?
Both are within scope. Catalogue products are supplied; where dimensions do not fit or a corporate identity has no ready-made equivalent, bespoke production is carried out. The boundary between the two is settled at the layout stage. A signed technical drawing is prepared for every bespoke piece and production starts from that drawing.
Is delivery available outside Ankara?
Yes. Delivery is made to the address across Türkiye through contracted logistics providers. The delivery charge is confirmed at order stage according to volume, weight and destination. Within Ankara province, delivery is free of charge above the stated minimum order value.
Is installation included in the price?
Where assembly is required, installation and placement are carried out free of charge at delivery. Where there is no lift or items must be carried up stairs, an additional service fee may apply and is notified before delivery.
What is the warranty period?
Products carry a 2-year structural warranty against frame, mechanism and stitching defects. Fabric and leather coverings are assessed on the basis of normal wear. Some products carry a longer manufacturer warranty, stated on the product page.
Can the products be seen in person?
Yes. Products can be examined at the showroom on Üsküp Caddesi in Çankaya, together with the fabric and finish samples. Address, opening hours and map are on the contact page.
