2. Personal Data Processed

Kavela processes the following categories of personal data:

Identity information: first name, last name
Contact information: phone, email, delivery and invoice address
Customer transaction information: order number, order content, delivery preferences, invoice information
Financial information: payment method; card information is processed by iyzico and is not stored on Kavela servers
Transaction security information: IP address, browser and device information, cookie records
Marketing information: email subscription and preference data, if explicit consent is given

3. Processing Purposes and Legal Bases

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes and based on the legal grounds under Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK:

Establishment and performance of the contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c): order taking, production, delivery, invoicing, return and exchange transactions.
Fulfillment of legal obligations (KVKK Art. 5/2-ç): invoicing, record-keeping and archiving obligations under the Tax Procedure Law No. 213, the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, and the Electronic Commerce Law No. 6563.
Legitimate interest (KVKK Art. 5/2-f): fraud prevention, site security, customer satisfaction analyses.
Explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1): sending commercial electronic messages, marketing and personalized content.

4. Parties to Whom Data is Transferred

Your data is transferred only to the following parties, limited to the purpose:

Payment institution: iyzico Payment Services Inc. (for the execution of card payments).
Cargo and logistics companies: first name, last name, phone and delivery address for the delivery of your order to the address you specified.
E-invoice / e-archive operator: for issuing legal invoices.
Authorized public institutions and organizations in case of legal obligation.

Your data is not transferred abroad; in case of transfer within the scope of cookie providers used for analytics and site security (e.g., Cloudflare, Google Analytics), compliance with the provisions of KVKK Art. 9 is ensured.

5. Retention Period

Order and invoice data are retained for 10 years under the Tax Procedure Law, while general communication records are retained for the relevant statutory limitation periods. Your marketing consent is valid until withdrawn.

6. Your Rights Under the KVKK

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to the data controller, you have the rights to: learn whether your personal data is processed, request information if it has been processed, learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose, know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad, request correction if incomplete or incorrectly processed, request deletion or destruction, request that the correction/deletion/destruction operations be notified to third parties, object to a result arising against you solely through analysis by automated systems, and request compensation for damages.
