Where the panel actually sits
The first question with an acoustic panel is not material but position. The models in this catalogue are not wall-mounted cladding panels; they are pieces that stand on a desk or on the floor. Cliff and Pona are listed in this grid, while Screen and Floor Petal do the same job from the Premium line. Screen panels are defined as essential for shared workstations: placed between desks, they provide visual and acoustic isolation and support concentration and privacy. Cliff is a free-standing divider whose sculptural stone form works as both a boundary and a decorative element. Floor Petal is a composition of petal-shaped sound-absorbing panels integrated onto a free-standing structure, designed by Moreno De Giorgio for open-plan offices, hospitality and education environments.

The models and their dimensions
Cliff is listed in three sizes: 65x45x140 cm, 155x36x142 cm and 100x42x180 cm. Those heights sit above the eye level of a standing person, so Cliff is intended to draw a boundary between zones rather than between two seated colleagues. Screen is listed at 40x40x45 cm, which is desktop range: it interrupts a seated sight line without cutting off contact when someone stands up. Floor Petal is listed at 35x35x40 cm and takes up very little floor area. Pona is a modular piece listed at 100x95x82 cm, offered in various configurations for waiting and common areas.
Noise and privacy in an open-plan office
What disrupts an open-plan floor is usually not the overall sound level but speech intelligibility: being able to make out the words of a phone call at the next desk splits attention immediately. Panels with sound-absorbing surfaces are aimed at reducing that intelligibility and cutting reflections. Cliff’s internal structure is made from recycled materials and its surface is specified as sound-absorbing. Placement matters more than quantity: a divider close to the sound source does more work than one at the far end of the room. If the requirement is a closed, confidential conversation, a panel will not deliver it — that is what acoustic pods are for.
Finish and colour choices
Screen panels can be personalised with colour and finish options to suit any office environment, which means an acoustic panel is also a colour tool. In a neutral open-plan floor, panels can either establish a quiet ground tone or make departmental boundaries legible through colour. Fabric-covered and felt surfaces are the typical finish here.
